2016 Results

The 2016 New York International Olive Oil Competition was the largest ever with 827 entries from 26 countries. The judges awarded the 314 brands listed below.

The country with the most wins was Italy, overtaking last year’s top winner, Spain, with 109 awards. A remarkable achievement by Italian producers who suffered one of the worst harvests in recent history just a year ago.

Spain came in a strong second this time, with 78 awards beating last year’s 73 wins. The United States was in third place with 50. Portugal and Greece tied for fourth place, each with 20 awards.
