Carroccia Campodimele
At the beginning of October, when the Itrana olives are still very green, the olive trees are harvested by hand, gently, and the olives are cold-pressed. Our organic extra virgin olive oil is a homogeneous, varietal oil with proven low acidity and peroxide content on the one hand and high content of health-promoting polyphenols on the other. Currently, the olive oil is distributed exclusively by the Orangerie restaurant in Darmstadt, Germany.
Where to Find The Az. Agr. Carroccia Campodimele is a family-run business with a 10-hectare estate located south of Rome in Campodimele, the so-called ‘Village of Eternity.’ Its inhabitants’ longevity is attributed, in particular, to their healthy diet, in which extra virgin olive oil plays an essential role. The manual harvest of organic Itrana olives in early October is followed by cold pressing. Both the production process and the packaging are plastic-free.
